The Dark side of the scorpio

Notorious for being mysterious, brooding and untrusting (among other things), Scorpios can be very difficult. The way they act doesn't help them counter their reputation either. Anything negative about a Scorpio comes from something that gives him a great deal of positive character too their emotions. Before you judge, though, you might want to look deeper into them and see where all the "dark" personality came from. Let us count the ways.

1) The Stubborn Scorpio. You might say a Scorpio, first and foremost is stubborn. It is where every other negative side of his persona comes from. It starts it issues and fuels it. There is no way you can make a Scorpio bend (they are fixed signs, after all) once he's made up his mind about something.

2) The Subjective Scorpio. A sound mind is needed in making sound decisions but the intellectual scorpio tend to have a hard time being objective. Mostly because they make their emotions rule above all. Most Scorpios have above average IQ and excel in school and at work. Under pressure, they stay calm and think their way through any problems. Any challenges along the way are faced head on. They are great at giving out opinions during discussions but ask them to give a fair and unbiased statement about an issue and the cool and calm scorpio just might break into a sweat. They can be engrossed and obsessed about their values and beliefs that they will fight tooth and nails to protect it. They can be very fanatical that they are blinded and biased. This is possibly one of the Scorpios greatest flaw as it affects both their personal and professional lives.

3) The Secretive Scorpio. They aren't that way for the heck of it. The distrusting nature is there because they don't like to be made a fool of. To begin with, they are very cautious about everything that they do so don't expect them to share their thoughts on anything if you're not close acquaintances. They think everything through and are not really the type blurt out anything. This attitude drives people away because a lot of times, Scorpios overdo being secretive. Reserved is one thing but not everyone has the patience to wait when the ice will at least thaw.

4) Suspicious Scorpio. In relation to the spiteful scorpio, never do anything that might make him doubt you in any kind of way. He is naturally suspicious of people especially if you are yet to prove you can be trusted. In relationships, he also tends to be jealous. A Scorpio asks for a lot because he also gives a lot. Even his all. So before you make that commitment, ask yourself if you're ready to be devoted and understanding. If not, you might want to take a step back and prevent hell to break loose.

5) Spiteful Scorpio. There may be no one else who can hold a grudge better than a Scorpio. Once wronged, you'd best expect to be marked an unpleasant acquaintance forever. They give some leeway to friends and loved ones, yes, but even with them the Scorpio finds it hard to forgive. They will act civil or ignore what happened but that doesn't mean they've forgotten. There is always that bad incident / experience hanging at the back of his mind so be careful with him.
